The last exhibition day of 3 days total at the BASTA! conference is about to end. It’s the first time that we have chosen to come here and it turned out be a worthwhile trip. The BASTA! conference including two days of workshops centers around .NET, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), WPF and other topics related to the Microsoft Windows platform. This made the event a good place to show our still to be announced integration into Visual Studio, TFS and Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) in public for the first time.
With over 120 sessions, keynotes and workshops the conference offers an impressive amount of input to attendees. And instead of right away returning to their hotel most stayed a bit longer for the mexican dinner, casino and to have something to drink. This also meant ample opportunity for us to demo Squish’s improved support for testing of WindowsForm and WPF applications. Despite the strong focus on Microsoft products we nevertheless ran into some people interested in other Squish editions like the one for Java and Qt.
PS: In exchange for a free goodie and an interesting talk about the city of Oslo I had promised the nice guys at the BrightstarDB booth to mention the name of their NoSQL database. Done.
